About Us


Connectpeople ApS was founded in 2009 by owner and CEO Maria Simonsen.

Maria has a solid background within HR, consulting, law, coaching, leadership, sales and business development primarily from the search, recruitment and development areas. Job position have included larger consultancy companies between 1995 and 2000 with Access Personnel A/S as an HR Business Consultant. After this Maria has been an HR Development Manager with a German owned company which was bought by Adecco in 2002. After this she was head of the HR division in Parken employed by a telephone company.

Between 2004 and 2009 Maria Møller Simonsen established and lead a recruitment and subsidiary company with Accounthouse which was bought by the largest recruitment, IT and outsourcing company in Norway – Amesto Group A/S – in 2009.


Our ethical policy is focused on discretion towards our clients and candidates. We are compliant with the guidelines of the Danish Data Protection Agency regarding candidate data and other sensitive information. Also, we guarantee that personal data is not forwarded unless we have explicit permission to do so. Client data is also stored securely and with full discretion and sensitive company data is handled confidentially. Discretion, privacy and trust are key words for Connectpeople and this is apparent in our external communication policy.
